Software Developer

The Software Developer Specialist, in collaboration with project team members, designs, develops, and tests new software solutions and new versions of existing MC software. Documents conceptual and technical designs. Understands and applies applicable design and coding standards. Builds packages and deploys software to integration environments. Fields technical questions from other developers, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and other departments. Provide development estimates for enhancement requests. Investigates and resolves bugs and deficiencies in the product code base. Builds and maintains internal tools to streamline the software development process and enhance productivity. Researches new software development concepts and makes suggestions for improvements. Create and integrate features for our enterprise software solution using the latest .NET technologies. Write web services, business objects, and other middle-tier framework using the .NET framework. Actively participate in daily code reviews. Champion the unit testing initiatives and commitments for the Engineering team.


  • Collaborate in all the different project phases, from defining technical, operational and user requirements, through to planning, quality control and testing

  • The ability to think analytically and arrive at creative solutions, with a good understanding of the mathematical and physical aspects governing the data tracking and control.

  • Utilizing the Knowledge of Oracle, Tableau, SQL to perform specialized development of software codes for User-Friendly data input screens.

  • Conduct studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs.

  • Familiarity with Windows NT or Similar Operating Systems environment essential in quality software development and providing documentation to application development staff and customers with result information obtained from the research and development efforts.

  • Implementing the scale down prototype initiation

  • Incorporating the intelligence for upgrade from an existing version to a later version, with ability to foresee and effectively handle troubleshooting code.
